Shipping
Please select your preferred method of shipping at time of purchase. EMS shipping will take approximately 2-4 business days to reach most parts of the world. Registered mail will take 7-14 business days to most parts of the world. Express Post is used within Australia.
Possession of goods shall pass to the buyer at the time the goods are loaded onto the vehicle which is to effect delivery of the goods from the seller’s premises and the goods shall thereafter be at the buyer’s risk. All goods are shipped uninsured unless specified by the buyer at the time of purchase. There will be additional costs involved if this option is requested.
All License unlock codes for Aprilia, Triumph, KTM, Buell, Benelli and Ducati with 5AM and 59M ECU’s will be sent via email to the email address provided by you at the time of your order. Ducati’s with Mitsubishi ECU’s will have their key generated automatically when the software is connected to the bike. You will need an Internet connection to do this.
Returns Policy
If you receive incorrectly dispatched or faulty goods, please contact sales@tuneboy.com.au within 7 days of receipt.
If the goods you receive are not acceptable for any other reason, then please return them to the address on your invoice. Goods must be returned unused in the original packaging, in perfect condition, within 28 days for a refund.
Once an unlock code (TuneEdit Key) has been supplied, retrieved or generated for the ECU (Engine Control Unit) serial number you supply or connect to, you will have been deemed to have accepted the goods and no refunds can be provided.
Your name, address, sales reference and reason for the return must accompany all returns. You are responsible for the correct postage & insurance for any items returned that were not incorrectly dispatched or are faulty.
Limitation of Liability
TuneBoy products are powerful tools that enable the user to change nearly all aspects of the programme encoded into the motorcycle’s ECU (Engine Control Unit). We cannot be held responsible for any direct or consequential damage to the ECU, the motorcycle or any third party as a result of making any changes to the ECU programming. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TuneBoy Pty Ltd will be under no liability to the Customer whatsoever for any injury, death, damage or direct or indirect or consequential loss (including without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use, loss of data, computer downtime, depletion of goodwill, business interruption, increased purchasing or servicing costs, loss of opportunity, loss of contracts and like loss) howsoever caused or arising out of or in connection with:
- the sale or supply of any TuneBoy product,
- any statement made or not made or advice given or not given by or on behalf of TuneBoy, including as to compliance with legislation or regulation,
- use or mis-use of any TuneBoy product,
- Any use made or resale or on-supply of any TuneBoy product.
This software and equipment is provided for use in closed course racing. Use of this software and equipment to modify mapping may violate local laws and EPA regulations. This is not for road use.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
The TuneBoy product reprograms the original ECU of the motorcycle. Any use of a TuneBoy product may invalidate a motorcycle’s warranty.
Warranty
The TuneBoy product consists of a number of software programmes, designed to work with WIN 2000, WIN XP, WIN NT, WIN Vista, WIN 7, WIN 7(x64)& WIN 8. The software is provided as-is, without warranty or any express recommendation and is installed and used at your own risk.
TuneBoy hardware is covered by a limited warranty against poor workmanship and materials. Defective equipment shall be repaired (to as new condition), replaced at no charge, or the original purchase price refunded, not including freight. The warranty does not apply a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication; or b) to a product that has been modified or tampered with.
Computer Compatibility
The TuneBoy product is tested with leading computer hardware and uses a standard USB and WiFi connections, however we cannot guarantee that the TuneBoy product is compatible with all computers and laptops. TuneBoy software is not tested for Mac computers.
Support
Post sales support is provided via email and limited to:
- Advice on the standard base tune for your motorcycle, based on information supplied by you,
- Advice on how to use the features within the TuneBoy product.
We do not supply computer support.
Post sales support is supplied as-is, without warranty and without express recommendation. We cannot supply any advice on what changes to make to your ECU’s programming. Any advice we do provide, either directly or indirectly, is used at your own risk.
In order for us to assist you as efficiently as possible please provide as much information as you can. Please indicate the make and model of the bike you are having trouble with, tunes, serial number and version of the software that you are currently using. Please also provide the trace file which is found in the TuneBoy Tunes folder on your desktop (TuneEdit.trc).
TuneBoy chooses to reply to any support questions via email. This gives us time to adequately assess your question or problem and respond to it in the most efficient and comprehensible manner, making support easier to follow and understand.
