This page allows you to install the latest version of the TuneBoy iPhone App. This will only work for customers who have sent me the UDID for an iPhone or iPad.

To get the UDID you connect your iPhone to the PC and run iTunes, on the screen showing the iPhone info you click on the iPhone serial number, this will make it change to UDID, Right click on the UDID and select Copy, email this UDID to sales at TuneBoy

Install steps

• Install the latest App by going to DIAWI Web site and drag the CruiseFlash.ipa file to the box on this page.
• Once the file is uploaded click the Send button, this will display a link for the uploaded App, go to the link in Safari on your iPhone or iPad
• Follow the steps on the page that is displayed, this will download and install the App on your device.

You will now have the Cruise Flash app on your phone.

Update the microcode in the WB-01, the WB01_Update_V6 is in the TuneBoyTrim download, this download also has the latest TuneBoyTrim and FlashMitsubishi programs.

Connect the WB-01 to your PC with a USB cable.

Run the WB01_Update program from the zip and press the "Update" button, this will update the microcode to the latest version, this is required for the current iPhone app

What do I do now ?

Connect the WB-01 to your motorcycle, Connect the WiFi on the iPhone/iPad to the WB-01 and start the App. Once the App connects to the motorcycle ECU it will ask for your key number, enter this and the App will close.

Now when you start the App it will connect to the ECU and display a screen showing the info from the ECU. If you swipe left on the screen you will see the Config Options screen, this allows you to adjust shifter pressure values and other options, swipe up on the config options screen to see more options.

Features

• You can Flash TuneBoy map files into the ECU and return the ECU to the standard map.
• You can select trim files to include when the ECU is flashed, these can be TuneBoy trims or your own custon trims.
• You can datalog on the iPhone and email the log file for processing on the PC.

How to reflash the ECU

• Turn off the auto lock function on your device, this is done by going to Settings then Display and Brightness, change Auto-Lock to Never, you can change this back after the flash
• Connect the WiFi of your iPhone to the WB-01
• Turn motorcycle on and start the app, it will connect and show the info for your ECU
• Click the button to select the map you want to load, the TuneBoy map is the latest map for your bike, this is based on the type of key you have. If you have a Tuning key the map selected is a tuning map, if you have Cruise and Tuning key the app will select the Cruise and Tuning map. You can read the map notes for more details, press done once you have selected the tune to load.
• Now you can select the trim files to load by pressing the Select Trim Files button. You can select up to three trim files. Press Done once you have selected the trims to load
• Press the Program ECU button to start the reflash. It will take about 10 seconds before the display on the iPhone changes, don'r assume it is doing nothing. The progress bar at the top of the screen will move from left to right as the ECU is reflashed. Don't answer the phone during the reflash or you will need to start from the beginning again.
• Complete will be displayed at the top of the screen once the reflash is complete.
• Close the App and turn the bike off.
• Restart the App, if this is the first time you have flashed the ECU the App will ask for a key, If you have the key you would enter it, if not you click "Cancel" and you will be presented with a screen to enter your ID and password, enter these and click the button for the type of key you need to generate.
• Restart the App and reflash the ECU a second time (Only required the first time after generatine the key)

How to get a custom trim onto the iPhone

• Connect the WiFi of your iPhone to your home WiFi
• Start the TuneBoyTrim program on your PC and open the trim file you want to send to the iPhone.
• Start the App on the iPhone.
• Swipe to the right on the iPhone screen. The App will connect to the PC and retrieve the trim file from the TuneBoyTrim program, once the app has the trim file it will display a screen to allow you to name the trim and enter notes.
• Enter the notes first then click in the one line edit field at the top of the screen and enter a name for the trim file, this will appear in the trim file picker when you select trim files. Now press the Done button to hide the keyboard.
• Select your model from the picker then press the Save Trim button. The trim file will only appear in the trim select screen when the model is a match for the model selected when you saved the trim file. If you don't want to save the trim file simply swipe left to return to the main screen.
• From the main screen you can swipe up to see all trim files you have added and to delete trims if want. Swipe down to return to the main screen.

Setting the config options from the iPhone

• Connect the WiFi of your phone to your WB-01
• Start the App on the phone.
• Once it has connected to the bike swipe to the left on the iPhone screen. The App will show the Config Options screen.
• Once you change the settings you press the button to set the options

Logging from the iPhone

• Connect the WiFi of your phone to your WB-01
• Start the App on the phone.
• Once it has connected to the bike swipe to the right on the iPhone screen. The App will show TP and RPM from the motorcycle and a button to start logging, press the Start Logging button.
• You can blip the throttle by doing a swipe up on the screen, this will only work if the bike is in neutral.
• Press the Stop logging and email button once the logging is complete. You will see a send mail screen, put your email address in and press send, the log filewill be sent to your email and can be processed in the TuneBoyTrim program on the PC.
